This post is an attempt to explain what the general rules and guidelines for this site and these forums.

Rule the first and only:

The house has the final word.

If you are trespassed your only recourse is to try and appeal to the house.

If you engage in illegal activity, abuse or threaten anybody, or just make such of an ass of yourself that you are being disruptive, you will be bounced.

Other than that I really hate heavy handed arbitrary rules.

We are all adults here so use whatever language you fucking want. Just don’t use it to abuse anyone.

How about some things that are not rules at IVB.

By posting things here IVB does not or will not take ownership of your work for perpetuity, you retain copyright of your own ideas. Just the right to publish what you post on this site and this site only.

That may not seem unusual but go ahead and read the rules at any other site. I bet you will find some Lawery language about them owning everything you post.

If you need to post a link to another site go for it. Post a link to another blog, site, casino, hotel, whatever. No need to be coy about it, trying to get around the rules about not posting links to competitors.

I have no illusion that everything can be found here.

One caveat of course, no advertising or spamming. No affiliate links or whatever. You know the difference, if you are trying to make money here you will be trespassed.

Currently this site has no advertising, but if it becomes a thing, there will be a need to take care of the site bills.

I will start a thread to discuss that issue.

I hate intrusive ads and will not deal with them.

Currently I think I will add a direct booking page with affiliate links to Vegas properties. Use it if you want or ignore it and never visit it. I like stuff like that, that is totally invisible unless you choose to use it.

Another thing I refuse to do is put up paywalls. All info free to members and non members alike.
